Global Youth Advisors

GYA is a group of entrepreneurs determined to open doors for more young South Africans to study or have exchange experiences abroad.

The Global Youth Advisors in partnership with Awesome Travel & CIEE are here to put that mark on your list.

Global Youth Advisors network was launched in partnership with the CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange) and Awesome Travel in close collaboration with EducationUSA and the U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town.

The aim is to assist young South Africans who want to study abroad, advance their careers and explore the world.

All GYA entrepreneurs have personally experienced the powerful impact of exchange programs and are thrilled to open these opportunities to the youth in their communities.

CIEE is the oldest and largest nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization in the United States dedicated to transforming lives and building bridges between individuals and nations by sponsoring a wide variety of opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Since 1947, CIEE’s mission is to help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world and contribute to a more peaceful global community by humanizing international relations.

Awesome Travel

For almost 20 years Awesome Travel has been assisting young opportunity seeking South African graduates and professionals to work abroad on short term contracts to gain invaluable professional experiences and personal growth opportunities. Additionally Awesome Travel offers inbound programs with opportunities to work in social and conservation programs throughout South Africa.  The experienced team at Awesome Travel offers full support from application to placements, visa, flights, housing, pre-departure orientation, and more.

EducationUSA

EducationUSA is committed to promoting the diversity of U.S. higher education to help international students find their “best fit.” EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of international student advising centers around the world that promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States.
